Job Title: Civil QC Inspector
Description of Saipem Vacancies
1. Execute the specific inspections on
materials, equipment and construction/
installation activities on site.
2. Issue the relevant Quality Records and,
when necessary, write and send to Quality
Control Supervisor non-conformances
reports.
3. Check the preparation of foundations.
4. Check the correct preparation of
reinforcements.
5. Check the certifications regarding
element mixes, LASTM test, chemical
analysis, grain size analysis.
6. Monitor atmospheric conditions during
pouring operations.
7. Monitor correct curing operations.
8. Check the sampling operations (when
required).
9. Review the laboratory examination
results.
10. Check sub-grade dry density.
11. Check moisture content.
12. Check compression strength test.
13. Check after execution of casting.
14. Check materials quality (wire, fitting,
etc.)
15. Verify special processes and the
relevant workers qualifications.
16. Orderly collect, check and manage
documents certifying tests, controls and
inspections carried out witnessing the tests,
controls and inspections carried out.
17. Check the conformity with the Quality
Control Plan and obtain the relevant
documentation.
18. Ensure the correct implementation of
the approved Quality Control Plans/
Inspection Test Plans.
Desired Skills and Experience for Saipem
Vacancies
1. A degree in Civil Engineering or any
other related field of study.
2. A minimum of 3 years work experience in
Civil Engineering and Civil Quality Control
position.
3. Proven skills civil works activities,
construction activities, control of instrument
calibration; industry standards, quality
control activities, quality inspection
activities, quality reporting and site material
control.
4. Proven computer skills.
